Great except battery for wifi
It worked seamlessly across Japan with no issues except that battery for the wifi device would die immediately. I would have to use power bank all the time.

Myself and I have traveled to Japan for more than 20 days. eConnect worked very well, we were tour adults using Wi-Fi all the time during our first trip in Japan. The device was waiting for us into the hotel and we returned it moments before boarding back to my country.
USEFUL TRAVEL DEVICE
Dear Connect Japan, your service is really useful especially if you are traveling in a group of people (we were the 3 of us). Even if the device is only in Japanese it's very easy to use it. Only negative aspect: the battery didn't last much, we had to recharge it after 4 hours of use. Thanks very much

Worked quite well besides the occasional drop outs, requiring a device restart. The battery didn't last a day of use though, so needed to rely on the included portable charger, which itself was quite useful. Overall very handy when you need both an internet connection and a local network across your devices.
Unlimited plan saves you money
I recently used the eConnect Pocket WiFi with the unlimited data plan during a family trip, and it was a lifesaver. Traveling with teenagers who constantly stream videos and scroll social media can easily drain data, but this device handled the heavy usage without any issues. The unlimited plan gave us total peace of mind.The only downside was that the device occasionally froze and needed a manual reset. While it only took a moment to restart, it was a little annoying when it happened mid-stream.Overall, it is a highly useful and reliable travel companion for data-heavy families. I would definitely use it again.

Shipping & Delivery
Rental orders are typically delivered 1 to 2 days before your pick-up date. Choose your preferred pick-up location during checkout. A shipping confirmation email with tracking link will be sent when your order ships.
Pick up
Pick up at your desired location: airport, hotel, guest house, ryokan, post office or a private residence. Any address in Japan will do!
Return
We provide a prepaid return envelope with all the necessary information filled in. Just put all items in the envelope and drop it in any post box in Japan.

When your data usage reaches the total data allotment, the network operator may impose a speed restriction. While this results in significantly reduced speeds, your internet connection won't be cut off even under these restrictions.

Unless we are fully booked, extending your rental is definitely possible. The extension fee will be based on your initial daily rental rate. To request an extension, please email us with your order number.
