It was very convenient to: 1. Rent the device from their website. 2. Receive the device directly at the hotel. 3. Return the device And it easy to use and the connectivity was good. We traveled to Hakone and the service still very good.
Easy way to stay connected for our trip to Japan
The process of ordering the pocket wifi was quick and easy, the package was at my hotel when we arrived and we were able to get connected quickly. We had consistent wifi throughout our 2 week trip for 3 connected devices. The return envelope was included, so we were able to drop off at the airport. Would recommend as a great option, and we didn't need to swap out sims. Pick up from the airport was not open when our flight arrived, but this would be an option if you were arrived in business hours.

Had it shipped to post office near where I'd be staying as I would be getting to the airport late. Easy-peasy. The hotspot worked great pretty much all the time. Price seemed much better than competition given the unlimited high speed data. Return was super easy to.

How does Pick up & Return work?
Pick up
Pick up at your desired location: airport, hotel, guest house, ryokan, post office or a private residence. Any address in Japan will do!
Return
We provide a prepaid return envelope with all the necessary information filled in. All you have to do is put all the items in the envelope and drop it in a post box anywhere in Japan.

Q. Is it possible to extend my Pocket WiFi rental period?
Unless we are fully booked, extending your rental is definitely possible. The extension fee will be based on your initial daily rental rate. To request an extension, please email us with your order number.

- Network provider (Softbank) reserves the right to restrict the connection speed for those who have used significant amount of data in a short period of time (or for those whose network activities are considered as suspicious).
