È andato tutto bene, ha sempre funzionato benissimo, solo una volta a sera ha finito la carica sia la wifi sia la Power bank e ho dovuto utilizzare un altra Power bank. Impossibile girare il Giappone senza . Benissimo il ritiro e la riconsegna.
Everything you need
We rented a PocketWifi in May & June 2025. It was waiting for us when we checked into our first hotel, and worked flawlessly throughout our 26 day trip of Kyushu and Honshu, using two mobiles and a tablet. Just perfect for navigation and translations. There were days when the PocketWifi would go flat, but that's why they also give you a battery bank. It only takes a few minutes to get it charged enough to get it up and running again.
Communication and service
An excellent choice to purchase a portable wifi device during our stay in Tokyo. We received it at the accommodation upon check-in and immediately started the internet connection, which was continuous and uninterrupted, making it easy to move around the bustling city and allowing us not to miss emails or our communication via applications. I highly recommend it

Easy and practical to use.
The router arrives with charger, a power bank and two convenient custodies to protect them. Network coverage proved very good. The battery in the router tended to run out quite fast (doesn't last a full day), but the power bank comes in handy and with a bit of attention (keeping everything charged) you don't run out of power. It holds very well multiple devices (we were a group of 6). Excellent and smooth delivery and return.

How does Pick up & Return work?
Pick up
Pick up at your desired location: airport, hotel, guest house, ryokan, post office or a private residence. Any address in Japan will do!
Return
We provide a prepaid return envelope with all the necessary information filled in. All you have to do is put all the items in the envelope and drop it in a post box anywhere in Japan.

Q. What happens if I use up 50GB?
When your data usage reaches the total data allotment, the network operator may impose a speed restriction. While this results in significantly reduced speeds, your internet connection won’t be cut off even under these restrictions.
Q. Can I purchase more data if needed?
Adding more data might be feasible, depending on our data pooling availability. Please email us with the specific amount of data (GB) you’d like to add, and we'll verify if we can fulfill your request.
Q. How many devices can a Pocket WiFi connect simultaneously?
Our Pocket WiFi devices can connect up to 10 devices at the same time. This means an entire family, or an individual with multiple devices (laptop, tablet, game console, etc.) can all connect their devices to a single device.
Q. Is it possible to extend my Pocket WiFi rental period?
Unless we are fully booked, extending your rental is definitely possible. The extension fee will be based on your initial daily rental rate. To request an extension, please email us with your order number.
Precautions before using Pocket WiFi
- The connection speeds shown above are provided on best effort basis. Actual speeds vary depending on location and connection status.
- Network provider (Softbank) reserves the right to restrict the connection speed for those who have used significant amount of data in a short period of time (or for those whose network activities are considered as suspicious).
- Your device must be WiFi enabled.
