reliable connection

I had reliable connection during my 2-week stay in Japan. Customer service is also efficient and responded quickly to my inquiries. It was also easy to return. I just dropped it in a mailbox at the airport before the security entrance.

Great coverage everywhere in Japan

I had excellent coverage in Japan from Hiroshima to Tokyo. The pocket wifi lasted about 7 to 8hrs a day before I had to recharge with the portable charger provided. When site seeing we were generally gone about 12hrs a day. I used 20GB in my 18 days, with 2 people logged into the device and using the data. The speeds were good, I navigated on google, shared videos and pictures with family. I didn't stream movies. I have used this each time I have been to Japan and have been very happy everytime. The device was waiting at my hotel when I arrived. I posted it back in the envelope provided at a nearby post box. It was all very easy. I would definitely recommend to others.

Good value

The wifi was delivered in a timely manner and it was easy to return. The only issue I had was that the battery didn't last as long as I desired even though I wasn't using it (it was turned on in case I received a call). I would need to recharge after 3-4 hrs. Battery pack that came with was (roughly 6"x3")good but large so I used my smaller pack. I had no issues with connecting.

How does Pick up & Return work?

Pick up

Pick up at your desired location: airport, hotel, guest house, ryokan, post office or a private residence. Any address in Japan will do!

Return

We provide a prepaid return envelope with all the necessary information filled in. All you have to do is put all the items in the envelope and drop it in a post box anywhere in Japan.

• The connection speeds shown above are provided on best effort basis. Actual speeds vary depending on location and connection status.
• Network provider (Softbank) reserves the right to restrict the connection speed for those who have used significant amount of data in a short period of time (or for those whose network activities are considered as suspicious).
