Translation Help Was Needed
The econnectjapan pocket WiFi was waiting for me at my hotel location. Service was excellent, but Since the Device was in Japanese, I was having difficulty setting it up. I was able to ask someone for their help in setting it to English. I am a senior so perhaps it was me! The rate for the use of the eConnect was economical , and returning the device was very easy. EConnect Japan also confirmed the return of my device.
Great device. Worked everywhere.
We were very happy with the e-connect device. Wished it had a longer battery life so I would not have to carry the backup, but it did last most of the day out. We needed to recharge before going out to dinner. There were sometimes when we lost the connection, but we just needed to turn off and back on again. I would highly recommend getting this for your trip. It sure beats the cost of paying your carrier $12 a day per device in Japan.
Trustfull and steady!
We found it ideal to have internet throughout Japan for 3 weeks this way! A consistently good and stable connection. We didn't have to worry about data usage either. The router was waiting for us at our hotel upon arrival and the return envelope makes it very easy to send it back by mail. We highly recommend this method via E-connect.
Great price, great connection great service
This company is excellent. Easy to order on line and waiting in our hotel room when we arrived. Reliable connectivity on our travels all around Honshu and the islands. Very quick response from customer service to my (idiot) question. Highly recommended 10/10
Good but a couple of issues
Over all this was a good wifi hub, however it did run out of battery quite quickly and it did need to be 'woken up' when you didn't use the Internet for a while as it disconnected.

How does Pick up & Return work?
Pick up
Pick up at your desired location: airport, hotel, guest house, ryokan, post office or a private residence. Any address in Japan will do!
Return
We provide a prepaid return envelope with all the necessary information filled in. All you have to do is put all the items in the envelope and drop it in a post box anywhere in Japan.

- Network provider (Softbank) reserves the right to restrict the connection speed for those who have used significant amount of data in a short period of time (or for those whose network activities are considered as suspicious).
